Party Planning Obsession

I have discovered that I have a real obsession with planning parties. Recently with the "decline of the economy" someone mentioned the idea of doing this on the side for a little extra spending money. After not so much thought I decided why not...I LOVE doing this, and I am sure there are those of you out there that do not enjoy it so much. Also I am sure there are some of you that don't have the time to spend on such tedious things as the perfect accents to go on a table for a 2 year olds birthday party.

My head is filled with ideas about all kinds of themes and as time progresses I will try my hardest to get everything on here. For right now I am going to share some of the things that I have done for my own children. If I can help you out in any way for your onw occassions, please don't hesitate to ask!!

If you would like for me to help you...let me know your theme and what you have in mind and I will be happy to give you an estimate!

This was a first birthday cake I designed and had done. The center tower was removable for the Birthday Girl.
These were the labels on the favor jars, made to resemble the baby food jar labels. I filled the jars with red, white and pink candy coated hershey kisses miniatures.

This was a second birthday party. The theme was flowers. I hand-made the invitations, this one is a sample, the final ones were done with white paint pen rather than gold.
The invitation says:

A wee bit of heaven drifted down from above, a handful of happiness, a heart full of love. Precious and Priceless, so loveable, too- Alyssa Brianne soon will be 2!

Tissue paper flowers and flower suckers in a vase were used for decoration.
Cupcakes that I made to go with the flower theme.
Chinese takeout boxes filled with goodies for favors.

This is what I have so far for my son's 6th Birthday Party:

Theme: Army Ranger

Goody Bags:

Invitations: Drafting Orders...
